All Blue Barrier products are based on a leading edge proprietary STPE formula which allows for easy, single stage application on dry or wet surfaces.

STPE Technology

BEP Blue barrier products are formulated using a proprietary Modified Silyl Terminated Polyether (STPE) technology. This proven technology, also known as MS, is relatively new to the United States, but has been the sealant technology of choice in Japan and parts of Europe for some twenty years. Combining the best qualities and advantages of silicone and polyurethane, STPE technology has significant benefits over existing silicone, urethane, acrylic, epoxy and latex based products including:
